Blackhawks Lacrosse has adopted and will follow the THOR GUARD guidelines as determined by the Crystal Lake Park District (click here for full description or visit http://crystallakeparks.org/General-Info/Thor-Guard.asp)

A Thor Guard satellite unit is installed at our home field of Lippold Park.

When the THOR GUARD sounds and the strobe light is on:

1. Activity will stop immediately
2. All players, parents, spectators and officials will seek shelter in their cars or in a building
3. All will wait in the shelter until the THOR GUARD sounds three blasts of the siren and the strobe light turns off, which signals the ALL-CLEAR

If practice or games are canceled due to severe weather and/or adverse field conditions, Blackhawks families will be notified by e-mail and/or text with as much notice as possible.
