Blackhawks Lacrosse Mission

Blackhawks Lacrosse was founded to provide the children and families of Northern Illinois the opportunity to learn the game of lacrosse in a safe environment that provides the possiblility for all players, regardless of abilities, to develop skills and game knowledge.  In addition, Blackhawks Lacrosse offers an opportunity for more advanced lacrosse players to continue developing their skills at a level consistent with their abilities and to play on a team that affords them the chance to compete at a higher level.  At all levels, Blackhawks Lacrosse emphasizes sportsmanship, teamwork, fair play, and respect for all.  Coaches will work with the children and families at all levels in a sports setting to foster and promote understanding of the game of lacrosse.

Blackhawks Lacrosse looks to prepare its players for high level competition in both the game of lacrosse and in life. The Blackhawks Lacrosse organization will provide its players with tools needed to become their best, to challenge themselves, and to ultimately succeed on and off the lacrosse field.  We will extend to our athletes the importance of teamwork, camaraderie, leadership, dedication, education, honesty, sportsmanship, and competition.
